Zero Waste New Zealand Limited

Zero Waste New Zealand Ltd has been in business since 2006, as an outgrowth of the Zero Waste New Zealand Trust (Trust) which is in its 12th year of operation in New Zealand. The Trust and the company operate nationally, with an office based in Birkenhead, Auckland. All company personnel work on a contractual basis, with a pool of capabilities and skills available to be drawn into projects.

The Trust has successfully introduced the idea of Zero Waste and the company was developed to follow up with the practical implementation of Zero Waste and sustainability. The company trades in products and services which are sustainably based and fit the Zero Waste image and ideals. The company experience includes working with councils, central government and the private sector resulting in an excellent understanding of the needs and practicalities of the many different facets of the waste industry.

We have developed and maintain a wide range of contacts in the manufacturing, waste diversion and recycling industries throughout New Zealand.  Over the past two years we have gained extensive experience in working in the biogas and organic waste field, pyrolysis, landfill and hazardous and e-waste areas both in the commercial arena and for councils.  We are well known, independent and trusted in these sectors.
