Yes it’s time for Plastic Free July (PFJ). This year’s theme is Choose to Reuse. Check out Para Kore’s videos and resources at the PFJ Aotearoa webpage as well as Para Kore Ki Tāmaki’s awesome video challenge here.

The government has just announced a timeframe for the phase out of additional plastic items. You can read about that here.

The plastic free whare

The main resource for the year is an animated house game. Players can choose reusable items that they would like to swap for single use or plastic ones that they currently use and learn about the impact that choice will make. All players can go in the draw to win a $100 voucher to a retailer who sells reusable items.
